Four generations of horses.
One single obsession.

Equimondo was not born in an office. It was born in a Normandy yard, out of a family exasperation handed down like an inheritance : paperwork steals time from the horses.

The details of this timeline are being confirmed by the family : the broad lines are true, the anecdotes will be made precise. Version to be confirmed

1950s · First generation to be confirmed

The horse as a working tool

It all starts with the great-grandfather, for whom the horse is not a hobby but a working companion, in Normandy. From that time the family keeps one conviction : you owe your time to the animals, not to the paperwork.

1980s · Second generation to be confirmed

The first liveries

The next generation opens the yard to liveries. The stable books pile up : livery, care, accounts kept by hand in the evening at the kitchen table. The problem Equimondo would one day solve is already there, in the ink of those books.

2000s · Third generation to be confirmed

The family riding school

Sébastien's parents run an equestrian business : lessons, riders, memberships, invoices. Sébastien grows up between the arena and the office, and watches his parents spend their Sunday evenings on the bookkeeping instead of in the stables. He will remember it.

Today · Fourth generation

Equimondo, born in Courseulles-sur-Mer

Now a developer, Sébastien makes the only logical choice for a yard owner's son : build the tool his family would have wanted. No fundraising, no investors to satisfy, and one compass : give horse people their time back. That is why managing horses is free for life : in this family, you do not charge for the horse.

We repaired four generations of Sunday evenings. »
